The importance of marketing consistency

In marketing, one great campaign likely won’t save you. But showing up, again, and again, and again, will.

Consistency is what makes you recognisable and in turn it builds trust and creates connection.

And here's the thing… it's not the same for everyone. And for good reason!

Consistency for one company may be 2 posts a month on LinkedIn and weekly email campaigns, whilst another may curate a quarterly print magazine with daily instagram posts. It all depends on how you need to reach, attract, and convert your target audience (aka, the marketing strategy).

Want to be recognisable? Be consistent with your brand. Don’t dismiss the importance of YOUR brand guidelines. These set out the rules on what you look like and structure how you should across multliple touchpoints, be in online, in print or even on stage.

Want to build trust? Be consistent with your promises. Your marketing and operations teams should be talking—a lot. Talk about what you offer and then deliver it. As your business evolves this can grow steadily grow too.

Want long-term growth? Be consistent in when and how you show up. With repeated exposure, customers can start to recognise you. Soon, that recognition will turn to connection.

So, if you want to show up but you’re not sure where to start, or you already have and you're not seeing the right results, get in touch. I can help. :-)
